SELLING ITEMS WITH RESERVE

If you are unwilling to take risks by freely consigning items to the auction (it sells regardless of the price), then there is "sellers insurance" or reserve consignment. Reserve consignment means your item will not sell for less than a specified amount (your lowest acceptable bid). Sellers insurance costs $20.00 per item, on top of your consigment fee at "live" auction and $10.00 per item, on top of your consignment fee on a "web" auction. These fees are regardless, whether your item sells or not. If the item does not sell, you have the declared 7 days to pick up your item. After seven days, a $1 per day storage fee applies.
