DESCRIPTION OLD CAST IRON CAULDRON Rating: 8 Comments. Made of cast iron the cauldron only measures 9” high 12” wide, 10 ½” deep and is more than 50 years old. It has raised ridges around its exterior, large loop handles that hold its wire handle, a trio of pointed legs, flared top edge and is marked “2. GALL”. This item is in sturdy shape having normal use wear, minor manufacturing/casting imperfections, a few very small edge flecks, has some surface rust and there is fine pitting in the interior.
