DESCRIPTION (5) ANTIQUE OAK GOLF CLUBS + ONE Rating: 8-7 Comments. The clubs in this lot vary in size and are more than 100 years old. All but one have Hickory shafts, wrapped leather strip handles and the other has a rubber grip as well as an imitation covering over a metal shaft. Four of the clubs are putters which have non-magnetic metal heads two of which are stamped with the Maker's name with one of these having a date of 1915 and three are right-handed with the other is a lefty. Two of the clubs are marked either McGregor or Spalding and have unusual milled slots on their faces. This lot is in sturdy shape having normal use wear, could have some small, shallow dents on the metal faces or minor surface rust, wear as well as some small repairs on the leather grips and they are at our Auction Gallery for preview. A nice lot for decorating your Clubhouse or try your hand at digging divots or sinking long putts with these. Please click here for an explanation of our (1-10) Rating System. Maximum Bidding
To save our bidders time, our system is desgined to accept "maximum bids." A "maximum bid" is the highest bid you are willing to place on an item. Our system will automatically bid for you, in the required increments, up to your "maximum bid." The initial bid placed for you will be only as high as required to outbid any current bidders should your "maximum bid" be highest. This means that you will always pay the minimum price required to "win" an item, and not necessarily your "maximum bid" **NOTE: In the event that your maximum bid ties a previously left maximum bid, the previously left maximum bid will prevail. **If you are the current High Bidder, entering another "Maximum Bid" will simply adjust your current "Maximum Bid" to the new amount providing it is higher than the "Current Bid". You are allowed to increase or decrease your "Maximum Bid" |
