DESCRIPTION (2) OLD CATTLE HORNS (ONE MODIFIED) Rating: 8 Comments. These horns are either 11 ½” or 18” long and are more than 50 years old. The longer has a small hole drilled at the larger end for hanging and the pointed end appears to have been flattened/cut. The smaller has a wood plug on one end and it was shaved down to make a raised spout section in the front like a powder horn as seen in our photo. This pair is in sturdy shape having normal use wear, some scratches / scrapes and soiling/stains. Give them a cleaning and they can be repurposed into many different uses around your home.
