DESCRIPTION LARGE FOLD-OPEN SPOOL CABINET Rating: 8 Comments. Made of wood this cabinet is 28 ½” high, 37 ¾” wide, 3 ¾” deep when fully open and is more than 40 years old. Each section has five shelves with eight small dowels to hold your thread. It hinges in the middle so when closed it is 7 ½” deep and has a pair of metal handles on the top for carrying. Its original finish is worn and a redo wouldn't hurt. This item is in sturdy shape having normal use wear, has a few small, shallow wood dents, wood wear and soiling/stains.
