1857 TIMBY BAROMETER

Rating: 7
Comments. Marked" Timby's Patent Nov 3rd, 1857" this barometer has a walnut case as well as embellishments, a metal needle assembly and a glass window shows the large glass tube with mercury. It has a scale inside with an explanation of the Mercury's rise/fall as seen in our photo. The woods original finish has wear, shade variations and a few scratches/scrapes. This item is in sturdy shape having normal use wear and light soiling. The mercury tube is intact and has its mercury. Give it a quick cleaning and this antique barometer well enhance your antique decor and is 38 " high, 3" wide, 1 " deep. The rating is for the finish and not for structure.

Maximum Bidding

To save our bidders time, our system is desgined to accept "maximum bids."
A "maximum bid" is the highest bid you are willing to place on an item.
Our system will automatically bid for you, in the required increments, up to your "maximum bid."
The initial bid placed for you will be only as high as required to outbid any current bidders should your "maximum bid" be highest.
This means that you will always pay the minimum price required to "win" an item, and not necessarily your "maximum bid"

**NOTE: In the event that your maximum bid ties a previously left maximum bid, the previously left maximum bid will prevail.

**If you are the current High Bidder, entering another "Maximum Bid" will simply adjust your current "Maximum Bid" to the new amount providing it is higher than the "Current Bid". You are allowed to increase or decrease your "Maximum Bid"
