ANTIQUE CAST IRON BOOKENDS (FRUIT BASKET)

Rating: 8
Comments. Made of cast-iron these bookends measure 5 " high, 6 " wide, 2 " deep and are more than 100 years old. Stamped on the back 9860 C/O they have a front design of a fruit basket in an oval and are heavy for their size. What appears to be their original paint has wear, missing spots and scratches/scrapes. This pair is in sturdy shape having normal use wear, have some very minor surface rust and soiling. Give them a cleaning and you'll have a nice way to hold up your antique library and are heavy enough to be used as doorstops if you so desire.

Maximum Bidding

To save our bidders time, our system is desgined to accept "maximum bids."
A "maximum bid" is the highest bid you are willing to place on an item.
Our system will automatically bid for you, in the required increments, up to your "maximum bid."
The initial bid placed for you will be only as high as required to outbid any current bidders should your "maximum bid" be highest.
This means that you will always pay the minimum price required to "win" an item, and not necessarily your "maximum bid"

**NOTE: In the event that your maximum bid ties a previously left maximum bid, the previously left maximum bid will prevail.

**If you are the current High Bidder, entering another "Maximum Bid" will simply adjust your current "Maximum Bid" to the new amount providing it is higher than the "Current Bid". You are allowed to increase or decrease your "Maximum Bid"
