ANTIQUE 2- GALLON STONEWARE CROCK WITH COBALT FLOWER SPRIG

Rating: 7
Comments: Made of stoneware this crock measures 11” high x 9” wide/deep and is more than 100 years old. It is marked on the top “J Norton & Co. Bennington, VT” as well as 2 all of which has a cobalt blue glaze wash to enhance its readability. The crock has a tan exterior glaze as well as a dark brown interior glaze, upside down U handles, thick edge lip and a cobalt blue glaze design of a sprig. This item is in sturdy shape having normal use of wear, soiling/stains and has some small chips all as seen in our photo. Give it a quick cleaning and you'll have a nice example of antique stoneware for your collection.

Maximum Bidding

To save our bidders time, our system is desgined to accept "maximum bids."
A "maximum bid" is the highest bid you are willing to place on an item.
Our system will automatically bid for you, in the required increments, up to your "maximum bid."
The initial bid placed for you will be only as high as required to outbid any current bidders should your "maximum bid" be highest.
This means that you will always pay the minimum price required to "win" an item, and not necessarily your "maximum bid"

**NOTE: In the event that your maximum bid ties a previously left maximum bid, the previously left maximum bid will prevail.

**If you are the current High Bidder, entering another "Maximum Bid" will simply adjust your current "Maximum Bid" to the new amount providing it is higher than the "Current Bid". You are allowed to increase or decrease your "Maximum Bid"
