ANTIQUE HAND PAINTED CHINESE STONEWARE COMPOTE

Comments. Made of stoneware this footed bowl/compote measures 2 ½ " high x 9" wide/deep and is more than 100 years old. It is stamped underneath" Chinese Pattern LS. V.S." as well as 16210 and even has the artists initials. There are hand colored highlights in the oriental themed scene, flowers as well as decorative borders. This item is in good shape having normal use wear and soiling/stains. Give it a cleaning and it will make a nice decorative piece or a handy serving dish for all your formal function.
