DESCRIPTION

(4) EARLY PLASTIC (BAKELITE) BROOCHES

Rating: 9
Comments. The pieces in this lot vary in width from 1 ½” to 2 ¾” which aremade of Bakelite/early plastic that are more than 80 years old and all have pin backs. The lot includes a solid 2 ½”w brooch with raised flowers as well as leaves. Also included is a solid 1 5/8” square brooch with a raised face, line designs and faux gems. The other two have hollow faces mounted on solid backs with somewhat matching designs, one of which has an elephant in the center. All are in very good shape having light soiling, some plating wear on the metal pin backs and were never worn. Give them a light cleaning and you’ll have some very vintage jewelry to enhance your wardrobe selections.

Maximum Bidding

To save our bidders time, our system is desgined to accept "maximum bids."
A "maximum bid" is the highest bid you are willing to place on an item.
Our system will automatically bid for you, in the required increments, up to your "maximum bid."
The initial bid placed for you will be only as high as required to outbid any current bidders should your "maximum bid" be highest.
This means that you will always pay the minimum price required to "win" an item, and not necessarily your "maximum bid"

**NOTE: In the event that your maximum bid ties a previously left maximum bid, the previously left maximum bid will prevail.

**If you are the current High Bidder, entering another "Maximum Bid" will simply adjust your current "Maximum Bid" to the new amount providing it is higher than the "Current Bid". You are allowed to increase or decrease your "Maximum Bid"
