DESCRIPTION

OLD HARRY F.BYRD APPLE BOX (VIRGINIA)

Age. More than 30 years old
Composition. Wood
Size. 11 high x 13 wide x 18 deep
Rating: 6
Comments. Made of wood this box has readable graphics on the side for Harry F Byrd, Winchester, VA, VIRGINIA APPLES and has solid sides, cut in hand grooves as well as a slat bottom. It is in sturdy shape with normal use wear, has wood wear, small, shallow wood dents, soiling/stains, could use some tightening up and has an indented section on the bottom of a front/back piece as seen in our photos. Mr. Byrd lived from 1887 to 1996 and was the 50th governor as well as a US senator from 1933 to 1965 for the state of Virginia and was a descendent of the 1st family in Virginia. This box needs some work but when done it will make a nice decoration in your country abode.

Maximum Bidding

To save our bidders time, our system is desgined to accept "maximum bids."
A "maximum bid" is the highest bid you are willing to place on an item.
Our system will automatically bid for you, in the required increments, up to your "maximum bid."
The initial bid placed for you will be only as high as required to outbid any current bidders should your "maximum bid" be highest.
This means that you will always pay the minimum price required to "win" an item, and not necessarily your "maximum bid"

**NOTE: In the event that your maximum bid ties a previously left maximum bid, the previously left maximum bid will prevail.

**If you are the current High Bidder, entering another "Maximum Bid" will simply adjust your current "Maximum Bid" to the new amount providing it is higher than the "Current Bid". You are allowed to increase or decrease your "Maximum Bid"
