OLD STRAIGHT RAZOR WITH BARBERS LEATHER STROP

Age. More than 80 years old
Composition. See below
Size. See below
Rating: 8
Comments. This lot includes an antique straight razor that was made by the New England Razor Company of Boston. It has hard plastic pieces for a handle as well as an English steel blade. Also included is a 26 long barbers leather strop that was made by John Weiss & Son LTD. It has a plated metal hanger on the top and a thicker leather handle on the bottom. Both of these pieces are in good shape with normal use wear, could have some plate wear, soiling and there are a couple of small cuts in the leather. Give them a cleaning and try your luck at shaving the old-fashioned way.

Maximum Bidding

To save our bidders time, our system is desgined to accept "maximum bids."
A "maximum bid" is the highest bid you are willing to place on an item.
Our system will automatically bid for you, in the required increments, up to your "maximum bid."
The initial bid placed for you will be only as high as required to outbid any current bidders should your "maximum bid" be highest.
This means that you will always pay the minimum price required to "win" an item, and not necessarily your "maximum bid"

**NOTE: In the event that your maximum bid ties a previously left maximum bid, the previously left maximum bid will prevail.

**If you are the current High Bidder, entering another "Maximum Bid" will simply adjust your current "Maximum Bid" to the new amount providing it is higher than the "Current Bid". You are allowed to increase or decrease your "Maximum Bid"
