DESCRIPTION

EXCEPTIONAL MODEL SHIP IN OLD CUSTOM DISPLAY CASE

Age. More than 40 years old
Composition. Wood, plaster, glass, fabric
Size. 21” high x 31” wide x 18” deep
Rating: 8
Comments. Very nice diorama style display of a ship in the ocean approaching the rocks. This seat is made of plaster in the background is painted like the sky. The wooden boat is set into the plaster and has great detail. It has all the rigging, chains, sails and more. The case has a solid wood frame with glass panels on the front as well as sides. The back is hinged and you are able to get in the interior of the case. The cases finish has wear, shade variations and scratches/scrapes. This item is in good sturdy shape with no breaks having normal use wear, has some wood wear, has a few small, shallow wood dents, a few splits in the plaster ceiling and has some soiling/stains. Give it a cleaning and you’ll have a nice display piece for your library or living room. It’s a one-of-a-kind that is “ shore” to impress the guests or your maties.

Maximum Bidding

To save our bidders time, our system is desgined to accept "maximum bids."
A "maximum bid" is the highest bid you are willing to place on an item.
Our system will automatically bid for you, in the required increments, up to your "maximum bid."
The initial bid placed for you will be only as high as required to outbid any current bidders should your "maximum bid" be highest.
This means that you will always pay the minimum price required to "win" an item, and not necessarily your "maximum bid"

**NOTE: In the event that your maximum bid ties a previously left maximum bid, the previously left maximum bid will prevail.

**If you are the current High Bidder, entering another "Maximum Bid" will simply adjust your current "Maximum Bid" to the new amount providing it is higher than the "Current Bid". You are allowed to increase or decrease your "Maximum Bid"
