CAST IRON DOOR STOP (ART NOUVEAU DANCER)
Age. More than 80 years old
Composition. See below
Size. 8 ½” high x 6 ¾” wide x 3 ¼” deep
Comments. Made of solid cast-iron this unmarked doorstop has an indented back which still shows the back of the lady’s form and a solid base. It depicts a lady holding up the sides of a flowing dress in a slightly arched position. The current yet vintage paint has wear, missing spots and scratches/scrapes as seen in our photo and does not appear original. It has nice details and is heavy for the size. This doorstop is in good, sturdy shape with no apparent breaks having normal use wear, has minor casting imperfections, fine pitting, some soiling and has some minor surface rust. Rating is for paint and not for structure. Give it a cleaning and this lovely will help keep your doors open the Deco way.

To save our bidders time, our system is desgined to accept "maximum bids."
A "maximum bid" is the highest bid you are willing to place on an item.
Our system will automatically bid for you, in the required increments, up to your "maximum bid."
The initial bid placed for you will be only as high as required to outbid any current bidders should your "maximum bid" be highest.
This means that you will always pay the minimum price required to "win" an item, and not necessarily your "maximum bid"
**NOTE: In the event that your maximum bid ties a previously left maximum bid, the previously left maximum bid will prevail.
**If you are the current High Bidder, entering another "Maximum Bid" will simply adjust your current "Maximum Bid" to the new amount providing it is higher than the "Current Bid". You are allowed to increase or decrease your "Maximum Bid"
