1876 SIGNED LETTER BY CALEB CUSHING

Size: 10” wide, 8” tall

Comments: This hand written letter, dated 1876, is signed by Caleb Cushing. (1800 - 1879) Cushing was a politician who served as a congressman from Massachusetts and attorney general under president Franklin Pierce. The letter appears to be on government stationery with the words “Legation of the United States of America Madrid”. The letter is signed on the back in a different color ink than the rest of the letter.
