DESCRIPTION

OLD GLOBE TOBACCO CO. AMBER GLASS BARREL

Age. More than 40 years old
Composition. Glass, metal
Size. 7 ¼” high
Rating: 8
Comments. The jar is made of brown glass and is marked” GLOBE TOBACCO COMPANY DETROIT MICHIGAN OCTOBER 10th, 1882” with slightly raised letters. It has a metal cover that has a metal wire as well as wood handle and the jar has a barrel design. This item is in good shape with normal use wear, has wear on the bottom, a small thin horizontal split in the metal of the cover and has some soiling. Give it a cleaning and it will make a nice addition to your bottle collection or a nice decorative item in your smoking room.

Maximum Bidding

To save our bidders time, our system is desgined to accept "maximum bids."
A "maximum bid" is the highest bid you are willing to place on an item.
Our system will automatically bid for you, in the required increments, up to your "maximum bid."
The initial bid placed for you will be only as high as required to outbid any current bidders should your "maximum bid" be highest.
This means that you will always pay the minimum price required to "win" an item, and not necessarily your "maximum bid"

**NOTE: In the event that your maximum bid ties a previously left maximum bid, the previously left maximum bid will prevail.

**If you are the current High Bidder, entering another "Maximum Bid" will simply adjust your current "Maximum Bid" to the new amount providing it is higher than the "Current Bid". You are allowed to increase or decrease your "Maximum Bid"
