OLDER CRAFTSMAN TABLE TOP JOINTER PLANER

Age. Less than 20 years old
Composition. Metal
Size. 12 high x 29 wide x 20 deep

Comments. This is a Craftsman model number 351.217880 jointer/planer, which has a 6 1/8 cut and a 12 amp/2 hp motor that does 20,000 cuts per minute. It has 2 cutter knives, a 1/8 maximum depth of cut and its fence tilts 45 inward and outward. The base is cast iron and has four mounting holes. It has a 6 " deep x 28 wide feed table, a hinged safety guard over the blades and the knob on switch in the front. There is a built-in blower to quickly exhaust the chips, and a pair of hand push blocks with rubber grip bottoms. This item is in sturdy shape with no apparent breaks having normal use wear, has some paint wear, some minor surface rust and has some soiling. Consignor says it works and it comes with a 14 day from end of auction guarantee. A must-have in your workshop to help keep those edges and tops planed smooth.
