DESCRIPTION

OLD ENAMELED TIN THERMOMETER ADVERTISING “EX-LAX”

Age. More than 50 years old
Composition. See below
Size. 36” high x 8” wide
Rating: 8
Comments. Made of a somewhat thick metal this is an advertising thermometer for Ex-Lax, the chocolated laxative that keeps you regular. It has an enamel graphics in blue, white, red as well as blue and this sign is heavy for the size. There are holes around the edges as well as the top and bottom for mounting. This item is in sturdy shape with no apparent breaks having normal use wear has some soiling, has some chips/flecks in the enamel as seen in our photo and we are unsure if the thermometer works. Give it a cleaning and it will make a nice addition to your vintage advertising signs and would look nice on the wall of your bathroom.

Maximum Bidding

To save our bidders time, our system is desgined to accept "maximum bids."
A "maximum bid" is the highest bid you are willing to place on an item.
Our system will automatically bid for you, in the required increments, up to your "maximum bid."
The initial bid placed for you will be only as high as required to outbid any current bidders should your "maximum bid" be highest.
This means that you will always pay the minimum price required to "win" an item, and not necessarily your "maximum bid"

**NOTE: In the event that your maximum bid ties a previously left maximum bid, the previously left maximum bid will prevail.

**If you are the current High Bidder, entering another "Maximum Bid" will simply adjust your current "Maximum Bid" to the new amount providing it is higher than the "Current Bid". You are allowed to increase or decrease your "Maximum Bid"
