DESCRIPTION

ANTIQUE HAND FORGED FIREPLACE CRANE

Age. Over 100 years old
Composition. Metal
Size. 17” high x 38 ½” wide
Rating: 8
Comments. This crane hung in an antique fireplace hearth via rings that were attached to the side in which the rounded studs were placed in. It would pivot into the flames/embers and its long arm would hold your cooking pot. This one is hand forged and you can still see it’s joining lines. It is well made work in this crane is heavy for its size. It is in good, sturdy shape with normal use wear, has fine pitting, has some surface rust and has some soiling. Give it a cleaning and add an antique look to your hearth with this one.

Maximum Bidding

To save our bidders time, our system is desgined to accept "maximum bids."
A "maximum bid" is the highest bid you are willing to place on an item.
Our system will automatically bid for you, in the required increments, up to your "maximum bid."
The initial bid placed for you will be only as high as required to outbid any current bidders should your "maximum bid" be highest.
This means that you will always pay the minimum price required to "win" an item, and not necessarily your "maximum bid"

**NOTE: In the event that your maximum bid ties a previously left maximum bid, the previously left maximum bid will prevail.

**If you are the current High Bidder, entering another "Maximum Bid" will simply adjust your current "Maximum Bid" to the new amount providing it is higher than the "Current Bid". You are allowed to increase or decrease your "Maximum Bid"
