DESCRIPTION

OLD MITER BOX WITH 26” DISSTON SAW

Age. More than 50 years old
Composition. Metal
Size. See below
Rating: 7
Comments. This lot includes a 9” high, 21 ½” wide all metal miter box which angles either side of 45° via the moving saw fixture. It has a 3 ½” high backstop, grooved table and holes on the legs from mounting. Also included is a 33” long cast steel Henry Disston saw with a thick top band, wood handle and very sharp teeth. This lot is in sturdy shape with normal use wear, has finish/paint wear, minor surface rust and soiling/stains. The wood handle on the saw has small chips as well as some splits as seen in our photo. Needs a little work but when done you’ll have a welcome addition to your woodshop for cutting all your angles the old-fashioned way.

Maximum Bidding

To save our bidders time, our system is desgined to accept "maximum bids."
A "maximum bid" is the highest bid you are willing to place on an item.
Our system will automatically bid for you, in the required increments, up to your "maximum bid."
The initial bid placed for you will be only as high as required to outbid any current bidders should your "maximum bid" be highest.
This means that you will always pay the minimum price required to "win" an item, and not necessarily your "maximum bid"

**NOTE: In the event that your maximum bid ties a previously left maximum bid, the previously left maximum bid will prevail.

**If you are the current High Bidder, entering another "Maximum Bid" will simply adjust your current "Maximum Bid" to the new amount providing it is higher than the "Current Bid". You are allowed to increase or decrease your "Maximum Bid"
