NYCS RAILROAD LANTERN WITH CPR GLOBE ( NO BURNER)
Age. Circa 1930s
Composition. See below
Size. 9” high x 6” wide/deep in lantern only
Comments. This lantern was made by Dressel of Arlington, N. J. and is marked on the clear glass globe “ADLAKE KERO” as well as “CPR” in an oval which stands for the Canadian Pacific Railway. The metal top is marked N.Y.C.S which stands for the New York Central System. It has a thick wire frame as well as handle and the top is hinged to allow access to the burner assembly which is missing. This item is in sturdy shape with normal use wear, has some fine scratches, soiling/stains and has some surface rust as seen in our photo. Give it a cleaning and will make a nice addition to your caboose or railroad lantern collection.

Also, please feel free to email or call us if you have any further questions.
To save our bidders time, our system is desgined to accept "maximum bids."
A "maximum bid" is the highest bid you are willing to place on an item.
Our system will automatically bid for you, in the required increments, up to your "maximum bid."
The initial bid placed for you will be only as high as required to outbid any current bidders should your "maximum bid" be highest.
This means that you will always pay the minimum price required to "win" an item, and not necessarily your "maximum bid"
**NOTE: In the event that your maximum bid ties a previously left maximum bid, the previously left maximum bid will prevail.
**If you are the current High Bidder, entering another "Maximum Bid" will simply adjust your current "Maximum Bid" to the new amount providing it is higher than the "Current Bid". You are allowed to increase or decrease your "Maximum Bid"
