ANTIQUE POWDER HORN
Age. More than 100 years old
Composition. See below
Size. 12” long powder horn only
Comments. Made of what appears to be a cow horn it has a wood plug on one end into which somebody carved” MO” as well as added some decorative cut marks around the edge. It has a raised edge on the other side and even has the wood plug for the hole. There is a rope carry strap that appears vintage and was once mounted to the” MO” end via a thin leather strip which has come undone. This item is in sturdy shape with no apparent breaks having normal use wear and has some soiling/stains. The wood is fastened with small square head nails which have a slightly raised center and it has an all over nice aged patina. Refastened that rope and you’ll have an nice antique powder horn to go with your Kentucky long rifle.

Also, please feel free to email or call us if you have any further questions.
To save our bidders time, our system is desgined to accept "maximum bids."
A "maximum bid" is the highest bid you are willing to place on an item.
Our system will automatically bid for you, in the required increments, up to your "maximum bid."
The initial bid placed for you will be only as high as required to outbid any current bidders should your "maximum bid" be highest.
This means that you will always pay the minimum price required to "win" an item, and not necessarily your "maximum bid"
**NOTE: In the event that your maximum bid ties a previously left maximum bid, the previously left maximum bid will prevail.
**If you are the current High Bidder, entering another "Maximum Bid" will simply adjust your current "Maximum Bid" to the new amount providing it is higher than the "Current Bid". You are allowed to increase or decrease your "Maximum Bid"
