1950'S HOMER LAUGHLIN CHINA CHILDS PLATE
Age: Approx 80 years
Size: 7 3/8” diameter, 9” with handles, 1 1/4” tall
Comments: A wonderful old child's plate made by the Homer Laughlin China Co. The back is marked “My Own Plate”, “Made for Holmes & Edwards Division, International Silver Co”. It features a transfer image in the center of the bowl of a girl feeding a teddy bear. The handles have words reading “Here I Go” says the fork and “Here I Go” says the spoon. It has gold tracing on the edge and an inner gold line which has some wear. It receives a rating of 7 for a small back chip which is not visible from the front.
