(7) ASSORTED POTTING SHED PLATES (DEDHAM REPRODUCTION)
Age: 1984 – 1986
Size: 11 1/4”
Rating: 9 – 8
Comments: In the early years of The Potting Shed in Concord, MA, the company glazer put a special collection of dinner plates together, some painted by Chotsie Starr, the founder of the Potting Shed. Others in this offering are very special or one of a kind which never went into production. These are Dedham Pottery reproductions with blue cobalt decorations and a crackle glaze. They have been in storage over 30 years. The traditional rabbit pattern is very popular but the company also did pieces including the Hallie Greer plate with a sheep. There is also a grape plate painted and signed by Chotsie. Others include a duck pattern, sailboats, Scottish Terriers (chip on the backside), shells and horses (cracked in center prior to gazing). All pieces are in very good condition except as noted.

Also, please feel free to email or call us if you have any further questions.
To save our bidders time, our system is desgined to accept "maximum bids."
A "maximum bid" is the highest bid you are willing to place on an item.
Our system will automatically bid for you, in the required increments, up to your "maximum bid."
The initial bid placed for you will be only as high as required to outbid any current bidders should your "maximum bid" be highest.
This means that you will always pay the minimum price required to "win" an item, and not necessarily your "maximum bid"
**NOTE: In the event that your maximum bid ties a previously left maximum bid, the previously left maximum bid will prevail.
**If you are the current High Bidder, entering another "Maximum Bid" will simply adjust your current "Maximum Bid" to the new amount providing it is higher than the "Current Bid". You are allowed to increase or decrease your "Maximum Bid"
