Comments: This coin commemorates the 300th anniversary of the 1672 creation of the first scheduled mail route between New York and Boston. The coin is dated with an image of a traditional horseback postal carrier and “Boston Postal Road” on one side with a small paragraph of text on the backside giving information about the road. The item is inside a plastic case and free of any marks or damage with only some age tarnish.
