DESCRIPTION

1930S WHALOM PARK BALLROOM POSTER ( AS FOUND)

Age. See below
Composition. Heavy cardstock paper
Size. 22 high, 14 wide
Rating: 6
Comments. This is a circa 1930s poster from the Whalom Park Ballroom that featured Helen Compton and her 42nd St. Girls Orchestra. She was known as" The Gorgeous Young Princess of Rhythm" that bears her smiling portrait and graphics in red as well as black that are quite vivid. This item is in sturdy shape with normal use wear, soiling/stains, small holes, has some tears and small tape repairs on the back. This one should be rare and it will still display nicely when frame. Don't let this one" Dance Away" and it is a must-have for the Whalom Park collector.

Maximum Bidding

To save our bidders time, our system is desgined to accept "maximum bids."
A "maximum bid" is the highest bid you are willing to place on an item.
Our system will automatically bid for you, in the required increments, up to your "maximum bid."
The initial bid placed for you will be only as high as required to outbid any current bidders should your "maximum bid" be highest.
This means that you will always pay the minimum price required to "win" an item, and not necessarily your "maximum bid"

**NOTE: In the event that your maximum bid ties a previously left maximum bid, the previously left maximum bid will prevail.

**If you are the current High Bidder, entering another "Maximum Bid" will simply adjust your current "Maximum Bid" to the new amount providing it is higher than the "Current Bid". You are allowed to increase or decrease your "Maximum Bid"
