TWO (2)OLD RED LANTERNS
Age. More than 30 years old
Composition. Metal, glass
Size. See below
Comments. This lot consists of a 15 ½” high x 5 ½” wide/deep ”Chalwyn” lantern that was made in England. It has an all metal body, large loop handle on the top, the original oil burner lantern and three plastic lenses inside. Also included is a Dietz Comet lantern which is 8 ¾” high. It has in all metal body, burner assembly, a metal wire handle and its original clear glass shade. Both of these items are in sturdy shape with no apparent breaks having normal use wear, have soiling, have some surface rust and have some wear/fading in their original paint. The bottom of the English lantern has chips in the paint on the bottom as seen in our photo. Give them a cleaning and you’ll be ready for the next power outage this winter.

Also, please feel free to email or call us if you have any further questions.
To save our bidders time, our system is desgined to accept "maximum bids."
A "maximum bid" is the highest bid you are willing to place on an item.
Our system will automatically bid for you, in the required increments, up to your "maximum bid."
The initial bid placed for you will be only as high as required to outbid any current bidders should your "maximum bid" be highest.
This means that you will always pay the minimum price required to "win" an item, and not necessarily your "maximum bid"
**NOTE: In the event that your maximum bid ties a previously left maximum bid, the previously left maximum bid will prevail.
**If you are the current High Bidder, entering another "Maximum Bid" will simply adjust your current "Maximum Bid" to the new amount providing it is higher than the "Current Bid". You are allowed to increase or decrease your "Maximum Bid"
