DESCRIPTION

ANTIQUE MAHOGANY 3 PIECE FLY FISHING POLE (D.SCRIBNER AND SON WITH CASE)

Age. More than 100 years old
Composition. See below
Size. See below
Rating: 7
Comments. Made of mahogany the wood case/holder is stamp” D Scribner & Son Makers St. John, N.B.”. The rod consists of three sections that are either 41” 39” or 35” long and have metal eyelets as well as a tightening mechanism to hold the reel. The woods finish has wear, shade variations and scratches/scrapes. This item is in sturdy shape with normal use wear, wood wear, small, shallow wood dents and some small chips in the holder. A section of the end piece is broken inside the holder of the middle section and they cannot be joined together. Need some work but when done will make a nice, vintage reel to do some fly fishing with.

Maximum Bidding

To save our bidders time, our system is desgined to accept "maximum bids."
A "maximum bid" is the highest bid you are willing to place on an item.
Our system will automatically bid for you, in the required increments, up to your "maximum bid."
The initial bid placed for you will be only as high as required to outbid any current bidders should your "maximum bid" be highest.
This means that you will always pay the minimum price required to "win" an item, and not necessarily your "maximum bid"

**NOTE: In the event that your maximum bid ties a previously left maximum bid, the previously left maximum bid will prevail.

**If you are the current High Bidder, entering another "Maximum Bid" will simply adjust your current "Maximum Bid" to the new amount providing it is higher than the "Current Bid". You are allowed to increase or decrease your "Maximum Bid"
