OLD WINSHIP WARDROBE TRUNK
Age. More than 75 years old
Composition. See below
Size. 41” high x 23” wide x 26” deep
Rating: 7
Comments. This trunk was made by Winship and has a wood body covered in a canvas like material, metal edge as well as corner protectors and a large snap closures all around. It has a partial hinged top as well as front which is where the wardrobe section is complete with wooden hangers which slide on the metal bars and still maintains the original straps to keep everything together. There is a hinged panel on one side which has 4 drawers which range in depth from 2 ½" to 15 ½" that have wide brains, brass toned metal poles and there is also a small storage area below them. There are still some shipping labels and the previous owner’s initials” D.C.B. of Boston as well has a fancy makers label. The exterior has wear, scratches/scrapes and some tears on the fabric. This trunk is in sturdy shape with normal use wear, has minor surface rust and soiling/stains. Need some work as well as a cleaning but will make a nice retro wardrobe for your closet starved rooms when done. This one is well-built and heavy for its size so bring some help when moving this one. Haven’t had a fancy one like this in a while so if you plan a trip, this big guy’s for you.

Maximum Bidding

To save our bidders time, our system is desgined to accept "maximum bids."
A "maximum bid" is the highest bid you are willing to place on an item.
Our system will automatically bid for you, in the required increments, up to your "maximum bid."
The initial bid placed for you will be only as high as required to outbid any current bidders should your "maximum bid" be highest.
This means that you will always pay the minimum price required to "win" an item, and not necessarily your "maximum bid"

**NOTE: In the event that your maximum bid ties a previously left maximum bid, the previously left maximum bid will prevail.

**If you are the current High Bidder, entering another "Maximum Bid" will simply adjust your current "Maximum Bid" to the new amount providing it is higher than the "Current Bid". You are allowed to increase or decrease your "Maximum Bid"
