1927 “ BAT WING” RUG BEATER
Age. See below
Composition. See below
Size. 28” long x 9” wide
Comments. The hard wood handle is stamped” THE BATWING BEATER, PAT. OCT. 4, 1927, JOHNSON NOVELTY CO, DANVILLE, PA”. The woods original green paint has some wear and a few small scratches. The beater section is made of solid steel rods which has a somewhat bat wing design and lots of twisted sections. This item is in good, sturdy shape no breaks having normal use wear and has some soiling. Give it a cleaning and if you don’t want to be beat your rugs you can use it as a decorative item in your country home. Its original green color will even go with that of your vintage kitchenware utensils.

To save our bidders time, our system is desgined to accept "maximum bids."
A "maximum bid" is the highest bid you are willing to place on an item.
Our system will automatically bid for you, in the required increments, up to your "maximum bid."
The initial bid placed for you will be only as high as required to outbid any current bidders should your "maximum bid" be highest.
This means that you will always pay the minimum price required to "win" an item, and not necessarily your "maximum bid"
**NOTE: In the event that your maximum bid ties a previously left maximum bid, the previously left maximum bid will prevail.
**If you are the current High Bidder, entering another "Maximum Bid" will simply adjust your current "Maximum Bid" to the new amount providing it is higher than the "Current Bid". You are allowed to increase or decrease your "Maximum Bid"
