DESCRIPTION

OLD CHESTNUT ROASTER
Age. Approximately 50 years old
Composition. See below
Size. 44 long x 11 wide
Rating: 8
Comments. This roaster has a solid brass pan with a hinged top that has a nice pressed design and its hinge is held in place with copper rivets. The hard wood handle is nicely turned and has an old high hook on the top for hanging. The woods stain has wear, shade variations and scratches/scrapes. This item is in good, sturdy shape with no break having normal use wear, has some wood wear, has a small, thin split at the bottom of the handle and has some small dents in the brass as well as in the wood. Give it a light cleaning and this will make a lovely addition to your antique hearth.

Maximum Bidding

To save our bidders time, our system is desgined to accept "maximum bids."
A "maximum bid" is the highest bid you are willing to place on an item.
Our system will automatically bid for you, in the required increments, up to your "maximum bid."
The initial bid placed for you will be only as high as required to outbid any current bidders should your "maximum bid" be highest.
This means that you will always pay the minimum price required to "win" an item, and not necessarily your "maximum bid"

**NOTE: In the event that your maximum bid ties a previously left maximum bid, the previously left maximum bid will prevail.

**If you are the current High Bidder, entering another "Maximum Bid" will simply adjust your current "Maximum Bid" to the new amount providing it is higher than the "Current Bid". You are allowed to increase or decrease your "Maximum Bid"
