DESCRIPTION

OLD VEGA USABLE TRUMPET (WITH CASE)

Age: 1930's

Size: 20” long

Rating: 7

Comments: This vintage silver plated brass Vega trumpet receives a rating of 7 for wear to the silver plate, a small repair at one of the double stop slides and a missing mother of pearl valve top which has been repaired. It plays well and the slides and valves work fine except as noted. It has no dents. Perfect for a student or beginner. It is engraving marked “Semperfacile”, “Vega Standard” and Made by the Vega Company, Boston, Mass”. Serial number is 27413. It comes with an alligator embossed fabric covered wooden case with two rusted closures that work fine. Some wear to the corners and edges. It also includes a Humes & Berg straight mute, a #2 Vega mouthpiece, an Elton lyre music clip which attaches to the instrument and a wood and lucite music stand clip. Tom came in to blow a few licks and it sounded great!

Maximum Bidding

To save our bidders time, our system is desgined to accept "maximum bids."
A "maximum bid" is the highest bid you are willing to place on an item.
Our system will automatically bid for you, in the required increments, up to your "maximum bid."
The initial bid placed for you will be only as high as required to outbid any current bidders should your "maximum bid" be highest.
This means that you will always pay the minimum price required to "win" an item, and not necessarily your "maximum bid"

**NOTE: In the event that your maximum bid ties a previously left maximum bid, the previously left maximum bid will prevail.

**If you are the current High Bidder, entering another "Maximum Bid" will simply adjust your current "Maximum Bid" to the new amount providing it is higher than the "Current Bid". You are allowed to increase or decrease your "Maximum Bid"
