DESCRIPTION 1887 FITCHBURG RAILROAD SCHEDULE (WITH MAP) Rating: 8 Comments. Made of paper this schedule is 7 ½” high x 3 ½” wide with folded and opens up to 15” high x 14” wide fully unfolded. Dated 1887 it is the schedule for the Fitchburg Railroad that went through the Hoosac Tunnel Route to Lake George, the Catskill Mountains, Niagara Falls, Saratoga and the Adirondacks. It has six separate schedules for all the routes, information on all the destinations with a couple of illustrations, info about the Hoosac Tunnel and an illustration of the route that goes from Boston to Schenectady New York as well as branches to other cities/towns. This item is in very good shape having normal use wear, some browning, minor soiling and has some very small tears in a few of the fold lines as seen in our photo. A must-have for the Fitchburg Railroad collector and who knows how many of these still exist in this condition. Please click here for an explanation of our (1-10) Rating System. Maximum Bidding
To save our bidders time, our system is desgined to accept "maximum bids." A "maximum bid" is the highest bid you are willing to place on an item. Our system will automatically bid for you, in the required increments, up to your "maximum bid." The initial bid placed for you will be only as high as required to outbid any current bidders should your "maximum bid" be highest. This means that you will always pay the minimum price required to "win" an item, and not necessarily your "maximum bid" **NOTE: In the event that your maximum bid ties a previously left maximum bid, the previously left maximum bid will prevail. **If you are the current High Bidder, entering another "Maximum Bid" will simply adjust your current "Maximum Bid" to the new amount providing it is higher than the "Current Bid". You are allowed to increase or decrease your "Maximum Bid" |
